Passion

Had a great conversation with my friend Sam Scarce recently about career building and it made me think of something similar: passion.

There is a great misunderstanding about what passion is, mainly this epiphany moment that hits you in the middle of the night, and all of a sudden you realize you need to do something specific for the rest of your life...It doesn't really work that way.⠀

Passion is found over time through trial and error. Maybe it's trying out different fields. Maybe its meeting like-minded people where you didn't expect. Passion might even be hidden in something you've never even tried before!⠀

Passion is developed by engaging our natural talents, nourishing them, and use them to solve real-world problems.⠀

Feel stuck cause you don't know what to do? That's okay! You and I are still learning.

TRY EVERYTHING for a couple of years. If you KNOW you don't like something, great - scratch that off. Learn from others ahead in their careers. Take the time to explore more about yourself AND ENJOY IT. In time, you'll find bread crumbs and will start to follow your own intuition about which direction to go.
